Hello, my name is Thomas
I was born in Germany and have lived here for most of my life. I have been fortunate enough to be able to travel all over the world, to meet many people and experience many different cultures. One of my most interesting and life-changing experiences was the time I spent living and working with a successful futures trader in New York City. I learned an unbelievable amount about the psychology of financial markets and how to make a living from day-trading. To actually be down there on the trading floor of the New York Stock Exchange and to see how those guys use their skills and 'insider's edge' to make money - this was one of the most exciting times in my life
Back in Germany, I too made money in the financial markets and it occurred to me that sports betting is very similar to the kind of 'gambling' going on in the world's stock exchanges. It's all just people trying to predict the future value of something, whether it's the price of gold or copper, the value of the Euro against the Dollar or the winner of soccer match or horse race, the similarities were obvious to me. Research must be done, and if you can find some kind of 'edge' or advantage then you can make money trading or wagering against those who aren't so well informed.
About the time that Betfair opened for business I created some systems for betting on Soccer games which I still use today. Later I saw the potential of Horse Racing, mainly because of its extreme liquidity - there are truly staggering amounts of money changing hands before every horse race. I started to test various ideas but didn't have much success. I purchased a few systems from various vendors, but this just frustrated me even more as 95% of them are complete garbage. Most of them are not even used by the people who sell them. I realized that most of these people really don't know what they are talking about.
After these disappointments I knew I had to try something different - so I really got into form-reading, but I did it the way an investor or futures trader would look for a winning stock or investment - I was looking for winners in the horse-racing markets. After some investigation I was able to acheive a 32% strike rate for horses to win. But there were too many selections and some losing runs that were too long for comfort. I thought that some fine-tuning might raise the strike rate and make the system profitable. But those long losing streaks caught my attention and then I had a simple but important idea - change from BACKING to LAYING. That was when the system turned the corner.
This system was created over a period of about six months before I started to test run it. That was back in late 2005. I started to test it in april 2006, but only recorded results starting on 1st July 2006. I put my selections (for free) in an on-line forum for horse-racing for one month (26th Oct 2006 to 27th Nov 2006) and the results were very encouraging with a 36.9 point profit at the end of the month. Entries into the forum can not be changed afterwards so this offers a kind of evidence for the system's predictions.

One of the forum members was very critical towards my system, but I believe that these results speak for themselves.
During that time the name of my system was born... HiPro86. This is a shortened form of HIgh PROfessional lays with a strike rate of 86%.
At that same time I was able to get some space in a newsletter to publicise my system a little. I entered my selections there for readers to either follow or observe for more than 6 months. It was clear to me from the beginning that the owner of the mewsletter would not allow me to promote my service. It proved to work though, if I made the selections public....
One more thing: I use my selections every day to generate an income and make my living.
What more can I say?
Thomas
creator of the HiPro86 system
